Our Love Story. Happy Anniversary to Us!

It’s our Wedding Anniversary this week! So I thought it’d be fun to share a bit about us throughout the week. Part 1 (out of 4) of our #lovestory. We had some mutual friends in our hometown that set us up on a double blind date with them. We went bowling and then ate at Perkins. We exchanged numbers and then a few days later we went on our first alone date to 3D Avatar. We dated for 3 months and then he broke up with me 😱! To be continued 😏…. #anniversary #4years #lovestory

Part 2 of #lovestory. Ed and I remained broken up, 6 months later on my birthday he does this elaborate gift with an apology letter and wants me back. I shut him down, uh you broke my heart. Big time. No thanks! Plus I was dating someone else, he was too late. (Although telling him this secretly crushed me as well). But then another 6 months later I got dumped yet again and that’s when I then reached out to to Ed and and told him… 😳?? (To be continued…)

Part 3 (out of 4) of our #lovestory. After being dumped yet again I then reached out to Ed to tell him… “I’m going on a Mission!” Where I would be sharing the gospel in California for 1.5 years. To which he held his tongue and said, go for it. 18 months passed with a few casual letters and no detail on his dating life. For all I knew he was dating or engaged, so I stopped contact. One month left on my mission I get this email from my Mom who had heard a rumor that Ed was waiting for me. Wait, what?! To be continued…

Part 4, last one, of our #lovestory. The rumor was out, Ed was waiting for me. He didn’t know I knew this though. Once I got home we talked over the phone for a month (he was out of state) until we met up at Thanksgiving. When I immediately, like immediately, asked him if the rumor was true. He was shocked. How did I even know that and yes, he was waiting. We immediately started dating and a week later (yep, one week) I got several flower deliveries in one day and the man of my dreams on my doorstep that night. With a ring! 4 months later we were married and now 4 years later we are still married. The end. Or should I say the beginning!? Happy Anniversary to us!!! #longestlovestoryever #ilovewriting #sorrynotsorry
